YouTube
YouTube is a social media video-sharing site that is now the 3rd most trafficked website in the world and is actually the second largest search engine behind Google. Users can watch videos posted by others or even upload their own videos to be shared with anyone or embedded into other sites.
Twitter is a microblogging service and social network that allows its users to post short, 140 character, messages to be shared across its network to a user's connections. Many companies use Twitter to update customers on specials, promotions, and other happenings with the business.
Linkedin is a social networking site that encourages professional networking and business-oriented content sharing. Users can connect with companies, co-workers, and other industry professionals to share ideas, communicate, and assist each other with business goals.
Google+
Google+ is one of the newer social networking sites, starting up in June of 2011. But in its first 7 months, it hit over 100 million users. Google+ is similar to Facebook but adds 2 distinct features: Circles, which allows users to segment their followers into specific groups and market to these groups separately, and Hangouts, which is a video conference / chat feature.
